Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant

On Sunday 3rd June, we were fortunate to be one of 1,000 vessels to take part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames.

Representing Hampshire, we had guests on board from two Hampshire charities; Naomi House which is a children's hospice and Rose Road, a school and respite centre for profoundly disabled children. Geoff is a Patron of Rose Road

It was a fun day, albeit a wet and cold one. The route itself was from Putney Bridge to Greenwich, a total of 7 miles which took us nearly 5 hours to complete. It was an incredible sight to see hundreds of thousands of people lining the riverbanks and bridges, all waving their Union Jack flags and cheering.
